Collection Instructions

1. To ensure accurate results, draw a discard tube or a syringe with no additive first.
2. Use only non-gel sodium heparin (dark green) tubes for specimen collection.
3. After collection, gently invert the tube 5 times to mix.

Transport Instructions

Once collected, both discard tube/syringe and the specimen must be hand delivered to the laboratory as soon as possible due to the limited testing window.Samples can only be analyzed after a 30-minute incubation at room temperature and within 2 hours of collection.
