This test is for bacterial culture of deep or complex wounds (eg, diabetic foot wounds). Both aerobic and anaerobic culture will be performed.

Collection Instructions

 Label swab with patient’s name (first and last), date and actual time of collection, and type of specimen. 
Maintain sterility and forward promptly at ambient temperature.Note:  Specimen source is required on request form for processing.
