Collection Instructions

Container/Tube: Lavender top tube, PPT™ VACUTAINER(S)®. or Gold Top Tube
Specimen: 2 mL of plasma (1.2 mL min) for PPT Tube sent in original VACUTAINER or 2 mL serum (1.2 mL min)
Transport Temperature: Refrigerated
Spin down and immediately freeze PPT™ VACUTAINER . Send specimen frozen. Original PPT can be frozen after centrifugation.
If sending serum or EDTA Plasma centrifuge and separate serum in vial and send frozen.
Minimum Volume does not allow for repeat testing.
