This assay enumerates the absolute count of CD34+ hematopoietic progenitor stem cells. Their viability is also assessed. Flow cytometric evaluation of CD34+ cell level is necessary for measuring quantitatively the hematopoietic progenitor cells in dose requirement protocols of stem cell transplantation. Quantification of CD34+ cells is also used during mobilization of hematopoietic cells and leukophoresis procedures. |

Laboratory is open Mondays through Fridays 7:00AM to 12:00AM. All testing is available during these hours. Limited testing is available on Saturdays from 8AM-4PM. Laboratory is closed on Sundays and Legal Holidays – New Year’s, Martin LutherKing Jr, President’s, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. |
