Collection Instructions

Container/Tube: 24-hour urine collection. No preservative. or random urine collection
Specimen: 5 mL of 24-Hour Urine ( 1.3 mL min) in an Acid Washed Metal Free Container Refrigerate specimen during collection Transport Temperature: Refrigerated
Stability: 14 Days Room Temperature, Refrigerated or Frozen
Collection: Instruct the patient to void at 8 AM and discard the specimen. Then collect all urine including the final specimen voided at the end of the 24-hour collection period (ie, 8 AM the next morning). Screw the lid on securely.
