Collection Instructions

Blood samples for digoxin analyses should be collected at trough levels which is just prior to the next drug dose or at least 12 hours, and preferably 24 hours after the previous digoxin dose.
Do not draw samples on patients being treated with DIGBIND®(Digoxin Immune FAb) because this product interferes with the Digoxin assay.
