Collection Instructions

Container/Tube: Lavender top (EDTA) Specimen Volume: 1 mL (minimum volume: 0.5 mL) of plasma
Collection Instructions:
1. Patient should be fasting.
2. Collect into a chilled lavender top tube
3. Spin specimen down in a refrigerated centrifuge.
4. Freeze within 15 minutes of collection
5. Send specimen in plastic vial frozen
