Specimen must be received within 48 hours of collection.

Submit only 1 of the following specimens:
Container/Tube:
- Male: Collect urethral specimen on viral culture VTM/ UTM), small-tipped swab . Refrigerate and ship at 4°C.
- Female: Collect vaginal and urethral specimens with viral culture collection swab.(VTM/ UTM).
                Refrigerate and ship at 4°C.
- Urine/Semen: Collect specimen in sterile, leakproof container.
Specimen: Endocervical exudates or scrapings, urethral exudate, urine, endometrial washing or biopsy, fallopian tube, placenta, fetal part, semen; cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), respiratory sources from neonates
