The test aids in diagnosing clinical vaginitis in symptomatic patients by detecting and differentiating multiple pathogens, including Sexually transmitted infections: Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, and Mycoplasma genitalium; Bacterial vaginosis-associated microorganisms:  Lactobacillus species (L. gasseri, L. crispatus, and L. jensenii), Gardnerella vaginalis, Atopobium vaginae; Vaginal candidiasis: Candida glabrata and Candida species (C. albicans, C. parapsilosis, C. dubliniensis).

Collection Instructions

1) Insert swab (pink shaft) about 5 cm past introitus and
rotate gently for 30 seconds.
2) Place the swab into the transport tube and carefully snap
off swab at score line against the side of the tube.
3) Cap the transport tube tightly and label the tube with
patient's entire name and collection date and time.
