Specimen must arrive same day as drawn. Container/Tube: Plasma preparation tube (PPT), Lavender-top (EDTA) tube, and Gold top tube Specimen: 2.5 mL plasma or serum ( 0.75 mL min) Transport Temperature: Refrigerated Stability: 4 Hours Room Temperature 3 Days Refrigerated 60 Days frozen Serum or Plasma (EDTA) may be used, freshly drawn whole blood may be held for 4 hours at room temperature.
