Collection Instructions

1. Aseptically collect 1 mL of bone marrow in an Isolator® tube(s)- immediately mix bone marrow with contents in tube by gently inverting four or five times.
2. Directly inoculate slide for smear.
3. Label tube and slide with patient’s name (first and last), date and actual time of collection, and type of specimen.
4. Maintain sterility and forward promptly at ambient temperature
