Container/Tube: Gold Top Tube or Red Top Tube Specimen: 3 ml Serum ( 0.5 mL min) Transport Temperature: Refrigerated Collection Instructions: 1. Patient arm must be cleansed with water only. 2. Avoid exposure of specimen to atmosphere. 3. Do not aliquot serum gel tubes. 4. Centrifuge red-top tubes and aliquot serum in plastic vial within 2 hours of collection. Send serum aliquot refrigerated. |
